It’s the time of year we’ve all been looking forward to: The time when the Ukranian morality police release their report on what is and isn’t gay. Apparently they think that has something to do with morality. The newcomer to this year’s gay-bashing is SpongeBob SquarePants.
The sharp eyes at Ukraine’s National Expert Commission for Protecting Public Morality have spotted a report by a right-wing religious group that complains about SpongeBob’s “promotion of homosexuality” and Disney films’ “pornography,” and on Tuesday announced that it was calling a special session.
Unfortunately, the report doesn’t elaborate on what constitutes a “special session,” but it’s probably mostly old dudes with funny accents wondering aloud what exactly Sheldon does with those tentacles and cringing, but secretly loving it.
